On April 12, a unique concert was staged under the Tianmen Cave in Zhangjiajie, more than 1300 meters above sea level. With the magical and spectacular Tianmen Cave as the background stage, artists from Hunan National Orchestra and Zhangjiajie Philharmonic Orchestra performed more than ten classical pieces, including the national orchestra "My China", "Sing a Mountain Song to the Party", the folk song of Sangzhi "Masang Tree Children Build a Lantern Platform", "Bang Bang Hammer on the Rock Board", the horse-head zither "Ten Thousand Horses Running", the suona "Hundred Birds Facing the Phoenix", and the song "Pilot". Sometimes passionate tunes, sometimes long and gentle ensemble, so that the classic music played in the mountain peaks, bringing an auditory feast for visitors on site.
The artists also walked up the 999-step staircase in Tianmen Cave, played the melodious flute and crisp suona, played the melodious pipa, sang a beautiful folk song of Sangchik, and interacted with the visitors to let them experience the endless charm of Chinese folk music up close.
