Kharkiv resident in duet with an American writer shot a musical film "Stay".

A story about a violinist playing at a railway station. Such a plot is taken as the basis for the short film "Stay", which was presented by the Ukrainian director, composer and musician with Kharkiv roots Taras Kutsenko (creative pseudonym Terry Heimat). He now lives and works in China. - reports the publication "Gorod X"
The script for the film was written by American screenwriter and producer Alex Sino. Filming took place in the Chinese city of Zhangjiajie.
"Stay" is a story about a violinist playing at a crowded railway station. He strives to remain human in the difficult circumstances in which we all live. The violinist wants to communicate with people and the world through his music. Listening to him, people move away from the mundane, their existence becomes more meaningful. There are only 8 minutes between the arrival and departure of the train, but significant changes are taking place with people during this time," said Taras Kutsenko.
The co-authors of the picture met in the winter of 2021 at an international competition. And the idea to create a film originated during an Internet correspondence.
It all started with Alex Sino's Facebook post, where he described the story of a musician who played in the New York subway. During an online conversation with Taras, they decided to shoot a picture dedicated to the role of music in human life.
Kutsenko also created the music for the film, the sound producer of the film was Sasha Gusev, and the main role was played by a native of Uzbekistan, violinist Ilkhomjon Shoismatov.
"Nowadays, both people and time do not just change, but change very quickly. The running rhythm of life can be slowed down only with the help of music," said Alex Sino.
The premiere of the film took place on YouTube on October 1 – the International Music Day. Official events were not held due to the ongoing pandemic.
