TIMES: Ukrainian composer and American producer won the Silver Mask award at the Los Angeles festival.

The Magic Song project won the Los Angeles Silver Mask Awards for Best Original Soundtrack and Best Producer.
Kharkiv Times  learned about this  from a message on the official website of the festival.

The author of the soundtrack is Taras Kutsenko from Kharkiv (creative pseudonym - Terry Heimat) - a composer and musician who is now working in China. He rethought the music of Nikolai Leontovich's "Shchedrik", creating for the "Magic Song" project an interpretation of the melody known in the world as Carol of the Bells.
The award in the category "Best Producer" was given to the mastermind behind the "Magic Song" project - American producer and screenwriter Alex Sino.
A team of famous musicians from all over the world worked on the creation of the Christmas single and video "Magic Song", including the virtuoso guitarist Al Di Meola (USA / Italy), singer Amori Gutierrez (USA / Cuba), saxophonist Ed Kaye (USA / Venezuela), guitarist Camilo Velandia (USA), singer Angelica Varum (Russia), singer and composer Leonid Agutin (Russia) and others.
The sound engineers of the project are Emmy Award winner Camilo Valencia (USA) and Sasha Gusev (Russia).
The musicians performed solo parts accompanied by the Zhangjiajie Philharmonic Orchestra (Hunan, China) under the baton of Taras Kutsenko.
To create the musical short film "Magic Song", in addition to live filming, they used computer graphics and sand animation. The plot resembles a fairy tale: on Christmas night, a little girl (Nastya Kutsenko) meets musicians and a fairy from the Sand Land, played by Svetlana Telbukh, a sand animation artist and participant in major TV shows, including Ukraine Got Talent, America Got Talent, Spain Got Talent ...
